We did it! With the addition of Connecticut Food Bank, the bread + butter project now has a nonprofit food bank partner in each of the six New England States. Connecticut Food Bank is the largest centralized source of donated, emergency food in Connecticut. Through warehouses in East Haven, Fairfield, and Waterbury, and distribution sites in New London and Stamford, they provide food products to more than 650 soup kitchens, shelters, food pantries and daycare programs in Fairfield, Litchfield, Middlesex, New Haven, New London, and Windham counties. For the next 5 months (November - March), the bread + butter project will donate 50% of our profits to our six New England food bank partners.
Today is the last day our customers can help us make a real difference for the people served by Pettengill House, Inc. in Salisbury, MA. Pettengill signed on as our first nonprofit partner and all of our sales from the months of September and October will support their food pantry and meals programs. If you'd like your bread + butter purchase to help this great organization, today is the day. Don't delay. Visit our shop and complete your order before midnight tonight!
And to encourage you to stock up on bread + butter, the company that produces our products is offering a coupon this weekend for $5 off all orders over $30. Just use one of the coupon codes below when you place an order October 30 - November 1.
