Did you know that 12.4 Million kids are at risk of hunger in America? Our friend Joanna sent us a video from the Share Our Strength website that talks about hungry kids in New York and what their teachers have to say about the way hunger affects their health and ability to perform in school. It really made Katie and Emma appreciate the fact that we have more than enough to eat everyday and affirmed our decision to use the bread + butter project not only as a way to raise awareness, but to actually help hungry people. Take 5 minutes to watch the video, and then tell your kids to take a break from iCarly or Jon and Kate and watch it too.
