Full Steam Ahead (achoo!)

Hey everyone, Sue here...(sorry to ruin the surprise Alisa!)

I haven't checked in for a few days so thought I'd take some time to update you. We are full steam ahead with our plans to expand the reach of the bread + butter project and our products continue to get rave reviews, which makes us very happy indeed! Our food bank partners are excited to work with us as we try to bring more attention to the great needs they are facing and the wonderful work they are doing. We love that you read our blogs, but we hope you will also support us by purchasing something from our e-store. If you haven't looked recently, we have SO many more products and we continue to add more each week. Take a quick PEEK!

I am fighting a nasty cold as is the norm for me this time of year when the temps start to change drastically. Did I mention that Vicks DayQuil is like freedoom in a cup? That stuff works really well and has been my savior these past few days. We have so much going on there is no time to be sick! Plus, I can't break my streak of going to the gym (and actually using the equipment). I have gone a record 4 times now since I joined a week and a half ago. I'm trying to get arms that look like Kelly Ripa's. About 4,000 more visits should do it. (She and hubby are returning to All My Children by the way, for anyone who gives a darn.)

Okay, random question of the day: If you had a "balloon" mishap involving your 6-year-old who was thought to be soaring through the sky, and scared the entire country, not to mention the cost of the first responders who were on the scene, only to find out he was hiding in your home the entire time, would you be parading your family on national television for the next 48 hours if you were NOT interested in the publicity? Discuss...

  1. And taking the risk of your child hurling on national television, not once but twice! Now that takes some awesome courage.

  2. I know, right? Courage or stupidity. You decide.

  3. Your tax dollars paid for the search & rescue....Black Hawk helicopter, diverting flights....cost ran around $2,000,000 according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Nothing will stop these freaks unless THEY have to chip in, just like you do if you go over Niagara Falls in a barrel. You play, you pay. Poor kids growing up in a totally dysfunctional home.

  4. I agree - those kids are in a very unfortunate circumstance. Thanks for weighing in. We love to hear everyone's thoughts and allow our readers to have a voice. Stay tuned for another random question!!
