Why is the shop on top?

We thought people might not be scrolling down to find our e-store embedded at the bottom of our blog, so we decided to move it up to the top. We have over 100 products now and we're adding new ones each week. What do you think of this change? Use the comment feature to let us know - or to submit other thoughts and ideas about the bread + butter project, our blog, our e-store, etc.

That was Tom, now it's Sue...
Hey, I joined Planet Fitness (yup the one dollar deal) and have gone two days in a row now. That is a record for me, the person who would rather stick needles in her eyes than do anything that makes you sweat and subsequently have to do the whole shower, shave and shine thing. I've got every excuse in the book and have yet to get that workout high everyone talks about. What is that really? And doesn't wine do the same thing with less effort? I'm just wondering.

Ben, what says you?

Katie is back from a 3-day field trip in the White Mountains. We always miss her so much when she is away because she has such a big personality. And mama loves it when all her chicks are home. They are the best!

  1. I think its a great idea to have the shop at the top! Some veiwers might read the new blog but they might not scroll all the way down! Once again a great idea by the O'Rourkes!

  3. Is it possible to put it on the side, to the right of the blog? Where you now have "bread and butter fans on Facebook." I thought something was wrong with the site (it was overburdened with people looking at Tom's post about Kate) preventing it from loading properly. I think for people to see that the site has been updated daily, they should see something different at the top each day - otherwise it just looks like a shopping site.

  4. Thanks Alisa. Tom agrees with you. Shop on top. Hop on Pop. Whatever. The shop is now back on the bottom, until Sue moves it again :)
