VT is on board with bread + butter

The Vermont Foodbank is our newest partner as we move toward the New England-wide expansion of the bread + butter project, and we are so glad to welcome them on board. Vermont Foodbank is the only food bank in the state and has been serving Vermont commmunities since 1986. Vermont is where Auntie Sharon and Uncle Bob live, along with cousins Michael and Bobby, and where Sue and I have enjoyed some great skiing and weekend get-aways, especially in Stowe. It's also where is there is a tremendous amount of need. Vermont Foodbank acquires and distributes food to 270 Network Partners around the state – food shelves, pantries, senior meal programs and other community meal sites – enabling 66,000 Vermonters to eat. Plus, they have a really cool logo, which is based on an Abenaki food legend. You can read the story behind the logo and learn more about Vermont Foodbank and the services they provide by visiting their website. Vermonters love their all-wheel-drive vehicles and warm clothes in winter. This should be a great market for our bread + butter sweatshirts! Keep coming back to our blog for more news on our New England expansion, and keep spreading the word.

Random question of the day: What is the name of the town that always makes us laugh when we are traveling to Vermont and need to stop for a bathroom break or to get a cup of coffee? Hint - It's off of Route 89, near Whaleback Mountain. Use the comments feature to enter your guesses.
